After achieving a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 1980 from the University of Illinois- Urbana Champaign Bill embarked on a journey that would eventually blossom into the creation of Clearbrook. This started with a passion for the preservation of water, and lead him to his first position at Hercules Water Management Chemicals. After several years, he decided to move on to a position with American Cyanamid as a part of their water and paper division. With numerous achievements from both companies under his belt, he transferred to the Fox Valley and began to realize his dream of building his own company. This came to fruition in 1993 when he and his partner founded Clearbrook Inc. In 1996, his partner decided to go in a different direction leaving Bill the sole owner and CEO. Today he enjoys traveling and with his daughters he has seen the wonders of China, Rome, Prague, Amsterdam and Panama.

Dan Miller Dan graduated from The University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and Math in 1968. He spent over thirty years in the chemical engineering and paper manufacturing before joining Clearbrook in 1997. He has been with the team ever since and considers his diligence in customer service and problem solving to be among his best attributes.

Nick Backman Nick has been with Clearbrook for 3 years as a national representative in water treatment sales, account installation, consultative services, account management, equipment, design and engineering. Before joining our team he was working on his Analytical Chemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology Degree from The University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh.

Maria DeBont Maria joined Clearbrook in the beginning of 2014 after a long history of administrative experience. She started her career as a secretary and made the jump to claims approver before deciding to temporarily leave the workforce while her two sons were young. Her oldest son is a pre apprentice for welding at August Winter and her youngest son has an apprenticeship at Black-Haak Heating for HVAC. She is happily married for 30 years to her husband Mike. She enjoys traveling with her family and spending time with her adorable yellow lab, Duke.

Tracy Settanni Tracy joined Clearbrook at the end of 2014. She received a Business Administration Certificate from Prairie State College. Tracy has a long history of inside sales and purchasing for approx. 15 years. Originally from the Chicago area, she relocated to the Fox Valley in 2005 with her husband Joe and her daughter Alyssa. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and has a special interest in both sporting events and landscaping/house projects. She is very involved in the community and can be found helping children as both an assistant soccer coach and a Girl Scout leader.

Diane Martin Diane joined Clearbrook in 2015. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Retail Merchandising and Management from the University of Wisconsin-STOUT. She has worked in customer service for 14 years and also has experience in sales and office administration. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children as well as traveling, baking, camping, and gardening.

Jeff Vander Velden Jeff has been in the manufacturing industry for over 23 years. He got his start in paper before moving on to wire drawing and finally joining the Clearbrook family in 2006. He is immensely proud of his family, especially his two children; a daughter who is a Registered Nurse and a son who is currently enrolled in university classes in hopes of becoming an English Teacher. He and his wife of twenty-eight years enjoy spending time outdoors, fishing, and building and flipping cabins and homes.

Charles Hoffman Charles has an educational background in water and wastewater operations. Upon graduating, he started working for the North Little Rock water and wastewater facility in Little Rock Arkansas. His interest in the field persisted when he relocated to Neenah Wisconsin, and he has been apart of the Clearbrook team since he arrived here in 2009.
